Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS), Dialyzed is suitable for special studies involving nutritional parameters and applications, where small molecules may interfere. Through the particular manufacturing process, the content of disruptive molecules, like amino acids, hormones, and cytokines is significantly reduced. Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS), Dialyzed is produced with a cut-off of 10 kDa. This makes it optimally suitable for proteomics and mitochondrial function analysis.

Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS), Dialyzed is suitable for studies involving nutritional parameters or incorporation of labeled material. These applications require the precise removal of certain constituents and whole serum cannot be used. The most common method for removal of these constituents is the dialysis of whole serum.

Fetal bovine serum (FBS) or fetal calf serum (FCS) is widely used in eukaryotic cell culture, typically as a supplement for growth media. Fetal bovine serum contains nutritional and embryonic growth promoting factors that are essential for a successful cell culture. Further, fetal bovine serum contains various small molecules, such as, e.g., amino acids, lipids, sugars, and hormones.

Fetal bovine serum (FBS) is the blood component obtained after coagulation and removal of cellular components. Its unique and comprehensive mix makes FBS one of the most important supplements for supporting cell growth and proliferation for in vitro cell culture.
